Description
Multilevel general English course.
The course is designed for adult learners who would like to improve abilities in all language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. The main emphasis is to develop your confidence in speaking and listening as well as to help you become more accurate in using the language. Our approach places equal importance on developing fluency and accuracy of the students' speech.
The course consists of five levels: BREAKTHROUGH, WAYSTAGE, THRESHOLD, VANTAGE, OPERATIONAL PROFICIENCY. Each level is usually 120 hours* long.

Study options
Individually, in closed mini-groups (2-4 students) and in open stadard groups (6-10 students).

You can attend classes at IFL LANGUAGE SCHOOL or our teacher can come to your place.

Minimum lessons weekly
2-hour* classes are held twice or three times a week.
Course start
Course can be started any time throughout the year if you are planning to take it individually or in a mini-group. If you intend to study it in a standard group follow the announcements on our web-site.
The course content
The General English course focuses on covering a wide range of topics and subjects in daily use in English speaking community. The emphasis is to ensure that students acquire fluency and confidence in using English, through the development of the students’ language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing, with the particular emphasis on speaking and listening. Students are also taught language systems: phonetics, vocabulary, grammar and register.
